These Terms govern your use of Ryde's apps, websites and services. By creating an account or using Ryde, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Ryde. They apply alongside any additional terms shown for specific features, and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
You must be at least the age of majority in your country and legally able to enter into a contract to use Ryde. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
Ryde connects you with transportation and related lifestyle services, including Move (everyday rides), Moments (experiences), Care (assistance) and Prime (elevated journeys). Availability varies by location and may change. We may add, modify or withdraw features over time.
When you request a ride or service, you make an offer that is accepted when a provider is matched. You may cancel in line with the cancellation rules shown in the app, which may include a fee where a provider is already on the way. We may cancel where required for safety, legal or operational reasons.
Moments are experiences and benefits we may make available as you use Ryde. They are not a loyalty or points programme, carry no cash value, and are not transferable or redeemable for money. Availability, eligibility and any specific Moment may change or end at any time. Nothing here guarantees a particular reward or outcome.
Care offers assistance such as flat-tyre help, jump starts, fuel delivery, vehicle collection and recovery, where available. Care is provided on a best-efforts basis and is subject to availability, location and any service-specific terms or fees shown at the time of request.
When using Ryde, you agree not to:
Some services are delivered by independent drivers, partners and providers. Where this is the case, Ryde acts as the platform connecting you with them. Your interactions with those providers may also be subject to their own terms.
The Ryde name, mark, design, software and content are owned by Ryde or its licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify or distribute our materials without permission.
Ryde is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here. We don't guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available in every location.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ryde is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited as set out by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using Ryde and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, create risk, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and where applicable the laws of the market in which you use Ryde. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where local law requires otherwise.
